Thank you for your loyal and ongoing support.
While we have succesfully concluded our major fundraising campaign for the construction of the All Seasons Barn, we are continuing to invest in the Farm's infrastructure and its historic builings.
A major intitiative for 2022 is to install a fire supression sprinker system in our historic 1827 Barn. Several catastrophic barn fires in New England have occured in the past year. The loss of the 1827 barn to a fire would be devastating for the Farm.
To insure this does not occur, we have contracted for a sprinkler system in the building. All told, the cost is projected to be $140,000. We expect the work to commence in the begining of the year with the hope that the building will be open (and protected) by the time our Spring programming in the building occurs in late April.
Your help in making this important project a reality is greatly appreciated.
We could not have come this far without your generous support, both financially and as evidenced by your participation in our activities. We hope you will continue to invest in us as we grow and embark on many new and exciting projects.
