Thank you for your loyal and ongoing support.
With generous financial support from the community, we have been able to accomplish a lot at the Farm. We have been able to purchase and protect 12.5 acres of open space around the farm and undertake many capital projects to maintain our historic buildings and keep the farmstead a safe and welcoming place for all. We continue to make and plan new improvements to the farm and we hope that Wright-Locke will be one of the groups you support.
Our wonderful programs and events, as well as our vegetables and raspberries, cover our daily operating costs. But they don't cover the expenses of maintaining our historic buildings. We rely on friends like you for donations to support our capital projects.
Our capital campaign needs for the coming year include painting and residing the historic Squash House, insulating the farmhouse, purchasing equipment to finalize the upgrade of our compost system, and other projects around the farm. All told, we need to raise over $70,000.
We could not have come this far without your generous support, both financially and as evidenced by your participation in our activities. We hope you will continue to invest in us as we grow and embark on exciting new projects.
If you have any questions about our plans or needs, please contact the Conservancy's Executive Director, Archie McIntyre (781-760-1017 or firstname.lastname@example.org), to discuss these issues in more detail and explore giving options.
